Formatt Hitech 85mm 1.5mm UV Skylight 1A Absorbing Resin Filter, fits "P" Series

The Formatt Hitech 85mm UV Skylight 1A Absorbing Resin Filter has a slight pinkish hue and is used to reduce blue casts in open shade, and to filter out excessive green shaded foliage. It is useful in shooting outdoors in shady areas or on overcast days. Skylight filters provide additional benefits of correction for Ultraviolet (UV) light which can register on film and videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details.

Ultraviolet filters allow you to correct for the UV effect to varying degrees. Haze-1 filters absorb approximately 71 percent of UV. This is an 85mm square UV (1A) filter made from CR39 optical resin and is specific to the Cokin P-series filter holder.
