This is a great filter for black and white photography. I used it to shoot city scenes and it produced just enough contrast for all of those gray buildings and pavement. I especially like the fact that it's double-threaded, so I can use it along with a UV or skylight filter. And I don't have to open up as much, risking motion blur. A good buy.

Milder than red and stronger than yellow, it completely eliminates ultraviolet, darkens blues and greens and is excellent for telephotography of mountain and marine scenes.
