Sound Investment

A few weeks ago I discovered broken glass when I removed the lens cap from my 85mm lens. My heart sank until I realized it was a filter...most of my lenses don't have filters because I listened to experts say they are not needed. Wrong. For many of us a good filter is a good investment. I bought this Hoya Lens to replace the broken one after doing some internet research and reading reviews. It is great so far - no problems nor complaints; images are both sharp and distortion free. It is worth paying a bit more for the higher quality glass on this filter IMO and helps protect my lens investment.
