Seems like a good product for the price. I have had it on the camera for about three weeks now and don't notice it causing any ill effects in my pictures. I am using it with my 28-135 zoom and Canon 40d.

I started using Hoya filters with my first 35slr film cameras and have used them on all my SLRs since. Excellent performance , consistently in all applications.
