About iKan

The iKan ID 500 LED 3-Light Kit (120VAC) gives you a complete lightweight lighting kit: three 5600K LED lights that are cool-running, use very little power and can be operated on AC power, or on DC power with an Anton Bauer or Sony V Mount battery (batteries available separately). A 3-channel remote control is included with this kit, so you can dim 3 lights and turn them on or off separately. Each ID 500 light mounts vertically or horizontally with the included adapter. For a complete lighting kit, 3 light stands, a 3-light carrying bag for the lights and a carrying bag for the stands are included. This kit is supplied for use with 120VAC.

iKan Features

  • Cool, lightweight LED lights
  • Operates on AC or (optionally) DC power for real portability
  • Every unit comes with an RF remote control giving you command over the light's power and the ability to regulate each of the four light banks--the ID 500's remote operates on three separate channels so three lights can be controlled with the same remote
  • Color temperature of 5600 k (+ 300 K)
  • Mount light vertically or horizontally with included adapter
  • When one light just won't do and you need a traditional light kit, iKan has you covered with the ID 500 3-Light Kit--each kit comes with 3 lights, 3 stands and 2 bags; just add camera and you're ready to shoot

Questions about this item:

Shopper  What is the quality of this product? Does it seem durable and what is the average lifespan of the lights?
SVEN B  Mine Ikan's have used lightly for about 18 months. I having no problems. I've seen some that are heavyiliy used that are having problems. I used them with a Canon 5D and lights look yellow. Also the things that attaches to the stand makes light not be able to move the head in every way. I suggest you look at some flolight mircobeam 512. It's a little smaller, has more punch and the head can move anyway you want it too. Peace, Sven
