I now have two of these batteries that I use for Canon DSLR video sessions. Between three OEM Canon batteries and two Flashpoint batteries, I can't tell the difference. In terms of performance, I keep my batteries fully charged, change them frequently during a shoot and haven't run one out of charge, so I can't comment on how well they hold a charge - except to say I have not seen a difference. Having extra batteries is CRITICAL when several people are involved in a shoot - so have plenty of spares and these seem to fill the bill with no complaints!

With a Canon DSLR - I shoot a lot of video - often for extended periods of time. So I needed some back-up batteries. The Flashpoint unit fills the bill at a fraction of the cost of the OEM battery. I now have two of these units and I use them interchanably with the the three original equipment batteries. To date, I've seen no significant difference in their operation, fit or finish.

In my experience, Adorama batteries have been weaker than the camera brand batteries and this one is no different. They don't hold a charge as well or for as long when not being used, but they are cheaper and sometimes I need that for a backup.

Battery rating is actually a little over the canon one and the battery last peetty long too. Not too bad for a replacement battery

I use my camera on a daily basis and the batteries seem to hold up just fine. The batteries are definitely worth the money and reliable.

Batteries used in new IR converted Canon Rebel T4i using LiveView for focus. Have only shot a few hundred photos practicing for a vacation coming up. battery has held up well considering liveview drains batteries quicker. While first battery I received was not functional it was promptly replaced by Adorama, and the replacement has worked well

I purchased this as a second battery to rotate with the Canon supplied battery that came with myu T2i. What I have notived over the last 6 months is that the Flashpoint battery will last only 80% as long as the Canon. I charged the two back to back in identical chargers and notioced that it charges slightly faster , probably due to its lower overall capacity. All in all not a bad battery, but you do get less capacity than the oem. Oh and it is lighter weight than the OEM battery as well. I would purchase again but would try to find one that matched the oem battery capacity.

I bought the battery for my backup camera which is a Canon T2i.It fits nicely in the camera and the money I saved over the Canon OEM battery can go towards some new L glass which is what really counts. As always Adorama shipped it faster than expected and the purchase was smooth and painless.

Thanks to Adorama for the very quick service! I received my order sooner than expected! It is an authentic Canon battery, not an imitation. It came sealed in a Canon package.

I purchased this battery within the same year I purchased the camera and the OEM battery seems to last longer and keep charge longer when not in use than the Flashpoint battery. The Flashpoint seemed to discharge rather quickly. Especially when shoting video. After shooting 300- 400 still frames the Flashpoint is ready for a recharge. It certainly fits the T2i and I would expect it to fit the T3i since they share the same camera body. I will probably purchase a second Canon battery in the future and use the Flashpoint as a backup to the Canon batteries.

Bought 2 of these, haven't noticed any difference from the battery that came in my Canon T2i kit.

I use Canon bodies as backups to my Pentax gear (yes - we Pentax pros DO exist!) and bought this right before an enormous wedding. It seemed to take a long time to charge but it was a robust performer after it was ready to use (my assistant ended up using one of the Canon bodies). Definitely worth the price and a safe alternative to OEM batteries.
