Flashpoint NP-FM500H Battery for Sony Repacement

Charged the batteries upon receipt. Both took a full charge in about the same time as an OEM Sony battery. These batteries were a fraction of the cost of a Sony battery and so far have proven to be the equivalent of the OEM battery. Pleased with the cost and operation of the batteries.

I use this as a third battery in my rotation with my a77 with the vertical grip. Works well and I have not seen any discernible difference between this battery and the Sony version that came with the camera. I did have one earlier that simply would not charge, but Adorama just replaced it with no fuss.

This is a great extra battery. It holds the charge very well. It's just like having an exact copy of the battery that the a77 comes with. I only recommend that you check the battery immediately to see if its defective. Unfortunately my first one was not charging; indicated by the blinking light on the charging unit. But customer service was awesome and they sent me another one out. They also provided me with a return shipping slip online. Great product. Highly recommend it to all Sony shooters!

Ok to use for a backup. After several cycles doesn't fully charge or discharges quickly. Be careful as youo get what you pay for, especially in batteries.

While this battery is low priced, it also seems to have a short life span. Mine lasted about 18 months. Spend a little more and get over twice the life.

Great spare battery for LED PANEL LIGHT or camera. May not work with some battery grips without OEM battery installed at the same time. Example: CANON 7D

Does not take a full charge and I would say I get about half the shoots on this battery that i would normally get on a Sony brand battery.

Purchased for back-up. Seems to run down a bit quicker than OEM battery but I'm still happy with the purchase. I was asked if this battery would fit the new Sony SLT-A65. According to the Digital Camera and Photo Buyer's Guide 2012, yes.

I use this battery in my Soney A350 digital camera. The first time I used it was at a motorcycle show, I took over 200 detail pictures of show bikes and it still had 48% power left. I think this is a good quality product for the price.

These seem to be a great product until the first time the camera can't recognize it. About 50% of the time when you put in a freshly charged Flashpoint the camera says there is no battery present in that position. It seems like it might be the battery holder except it never happens with Sony batteries. I won't be buying any more of this brand.

Higher-capacity battery than the Sony, expect it to take slightly longer to charge. Fits perfectly. I use it in alternation with the original without worrying about which is which.

Battery would not charge past 77% and it exhausted after 30 shots. I will pay full price for a Sony battery rather than trying to save a buck and miss shots.

I picked up a couple of these as backups, the price can't be beat. I've yet to use them but I can already tell you they charge up really quickly. Crossing fingers!

The battery has joined the regular "rotation" and is put to use as needed. So far, no complaints. Bear in mind that for many photographers there ought to be a fully charged battery in the camera and two other charged batteries waiting their turn. I'd recommend this battery to a friend.
