Size issue may be fixed

Works just as well as the OEM battery. There were some reviews mentioning that the battery got stuck in their cameras, but I didn't run into that issue with my XE-1. It fits just as well as the original battery.

BATTERY is not up to SPECs

THIS BATTERY has a short CHARGE life. I had to replace it with a extra OEM FUJI. It works but wont stay charged long. On average Half the life of a OEM FUJI. Will I still use it, YES! as a back up to the back up battery.

GOT STUCK IN XE1

By

THE BATERY GOT STUCK ON MY XE1 AND WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE. This doesn't happen with the oem fuji battery. I threw the flashpoint away.

Trust is Important

I trust Adorama's products, and when it comes to batteries, the last thing you want is one that will leak or explode inside your camera. I trust Adorama's reputation that these will perform as well as the manufacture's product.

Great price, needs some work.....

Just like the previous reviewer, my batteries when they arrived were a little too "thick" to fit into the camera without getting jammed in there... I took a rasp/file combination (although sandpaper would work well too) and had to shave off some of the thickness to get the batteries to fit into the body of the camera. The width was not an issue, but the thickness is off a little bit on these, so shave down the flat faces and they'll work! One precaution I DID make was I took some of that Brother labeler tape (maybe 3" and ran it up the side of the battery that would be opposite the retaining clip when installed in the camera, and then used the excess to loop back on itself so I had a little tab to help pull the batter out if it warmed up and expanded a little bit. Otherwise, for what ended up being $5.00 each I really can't complain!

I love Flashpoint batteries...but...

By

Let me first start by saying that I love Flashpoint products, I have had no issues with them that I can remember, at least until this latest purchase. I bought this battery in-store yesterday and charged it up right away. The power of this battery seems to be fine. I've been using it continuously for about 30 minutes now, testing different lenses and such, and where as the official battery would have shown me some drainage by now, the Flashpoint battery has not. I have owned other flashpoint batteries. I purchased one for my Nikon D700 about 3 years ago and it's still going strong! Just as reliable as the Nikon equivalent. Ok so on to the major problem with this battery. I should have known better then to just pick the battery up and leave. Since I was in the store, I should have thought to see if it actually FIT the camera. I've had issues with other 3rd party batteries not fitting right in other cameras before, I just didnt think that Flashpoint would have this issue. After it was charged and ready to use, I tried to put the battery into the camera. It was too big! It fit, but the thickness was just a hair off so that it was a very snug fit. I thought I would be able to just force it back out, so I pushed it all the way in. It took me 10 minutes to get the battery out with a dental pick and a metal ruler to pry it out! I was actually really lucky that I got the battery out at all, especially without any damage. I thought I was going to have to send the camera in. I had some fine grain sandpaper sitting on my desk. So I just sanded down the front and back for a bit until it fit. Took about 5 mins of my time, and because I used fine grain, you cant tell that I messed with it, except that that printed stuff on it is gone now. so it wasnt a big deal. But lesson learned. If you can, check before you buy. I'm sure this is a random issue, so bring your camera and have them send up a few to try. Its totally worth it for the savings.

Questions about this item:

S D  Is this the same battery as : NP-W126 7.2 V BUT 1260 mAh; min 1200mAH 8.7 Wh for fuji finepix HS 30EXR?? thanks,
IRWIN S  Yes. The Fuji HS 30 EXR uses the same battery that the X-Pro 1 and the X-e1 use namely the NP-W126. The Flashpoint battery has a somewhat greater capacity then the original and so uses more Watts per hour (WH). The only concern I have with using an after market replacement battery is that I am recharging it in the original Fuji charger designed for their battery's specs. Is it set up so that it can realize that the battery you have in it has a greater capacity? Don't know. Regardless, right now it seems to be working fine?
