I used it most for video and like the latest Canon is great. Also I shoot some sport and is fast focusing, and great fps
Upgraded from a 40D to get better higher ISO noise reduction and so far so good.
We are professional photographers who photograph over 20,000 children per year. We have used our Canon 40D cameras for more than 5 years and they have not let us down. We recently upgraded to the 60Ds, which so far have proven easier to navigate, less likely to change the shooting mode by mistake, with crisp, clean detail in the shots. We love them.
I now own 2 60'Ds and simply love the results I'm able to capture. I'm a pro photographer working major events and love the simplicity of it's use. Very dependable & practical. Might not be the best camera out there for pro photographers but, the results I get speak for themselves. Haven't had a client complain yet! :)Would highly recommend to anyone!
Not as fast as my 50d for sports but a nice camera for the money.
It was an upgrade for my Rebel Xsi. The camera performs as expected Unless I am doing something wrong the video portion works but doesnt track. So I would recommend to use a video camera for constant moving subjects like kids running and sports. Overall good value
I have had a Canon 60D since they first came out. I do Performance photography and teach it in a Theater/Fine Arts college at a state university. It does fine work digital still images and I also use it to shoot fine HD Video clips. I bought this body as a gift for a relative who is a Lighting Designer in NYC - doing a lot of performance photography there. I am very confident he will be very happy with this gift.
Great camera for the price. It is a good camera for someone who is a little more advanced than novice. I sold my Nikon D40 and replaced it with this camera. I am really excited about the HD video mode.
Good and easy to use camera for photo enthusiasts.
I would have highly recommend this body to anyone like myself who is newer to photography but becoming a fanatic! This is a great step up from Canon's T-series (my t4i was stolen so I took the opportunity to upgrade to the 60D). It's solid without being too heavy and takes great shots. I love the top display for easy settings changes.
