A lot of amazing camera

from Central Wisconsin  -  Photo Enthusiast

I like to take it every where I go. I shoot wildlife, scenery, landscapes anything and everything. I love taking photos. This camera is somewhat heavier than I am used to but it is a lot more camera than I ever had. A lot more features than I expected and too numerous to list.

Great Camera

from Chicago, Illinis  -  Photo Enthusiast

Use for architectural, sports, wildlife photography.Very fast when you need it. Good noise control even at high ISO.Weight and balance when holding the camera very comfortable.Live view great for darker scenes.I do not use the video so I can not comment on that.

Great camera

from Pittsburgh, PA  -  Photo Enthusiast

As a camera enthusiast looking for an upgrade from my entry level DSLR, the 7D was a great option. It's noticeably heavier than my old t3i, but is more ergonomic. The big spinny dial is satisfying to play with too!

Refurb Like New 7D

from New York, NY  -  Pro Photographer

I have been shooting professionally with a Canon 5D Mark II and 5D "Classic" as a backup. I was looking for a great replacement for the "Classic" and decided on a refurbished Canon 7D from Adorama. The 7D is absolutely "dynamite" with a better autofocus system, faster burst rate, and more advanced image processor than the 5D Mark II at a fraction of the cost for a 5D Mark III. I like to have as much commonality as possible between my primary and backup cameras, and like that both the 5D Mark II and this 7D share the same battery and both use CF memory cards. I can see myself using the 7D as my preferred camera over the full-frame 5D Mark II which is likely to become the backup more often than not. The 7D is producing image quality that will more than satisfy my clients. Adorama gave me a great deal on a refurbished camera which came with all of the original packaging. software, cables, and user manuals. In fact, I believe this camera was actually factory new, but it had a tiny insignificant cosmetic flaw which I didn't even notice until I'd had the camera for a week and someone else pointed it out. By then, had already fallen in love with its performance. Great camera, great price, fast delivery, highly recommend Adorama for new, used, or refurbished gear!

Canon EOS-7D DSLR Camera Body by Canon

Fantastic camera, could not ask for a better product. Use it every day for backcountry skiing.

Awesome Camera

from Corona Del Mar, CA  -  Photography Student

I had a 60D and decided to buy the 7D for the burst rate. The burst rate is phenomenal but there are so many other things that you get in a pro camera that you dont get in a prosumer such as the autofocus points etc.

Looking Great Since 2010

from Albuquerque, NM  -  Pro Photographer

Thought I'd update my 4-star review from November 2010. The 7D has been an amazing performer. The body is super durable and the dust control system has kept my images spot-free for 3 years in the high desert. IQ is fantastic, I've upgraded my evaluation to 5 stars from 4: as another reviewer commented, this is a camera that you don't just pick up and shoot with. Now that I've shot dozens of events in low light (80mm effective with my 50mm 1.2), I find myself more and more in love with this camera. This is a pro camera in every respect, and you simply can't lose buying it. I have no 'pixel envy' whatsoever!

Great camera!

from Libertyville, Illinois  -  Photo Enthusiast

Tthis camera is well beyond my expectations ! It is my fourth canon camera. I could not be happier!

Excellent - But you already know that

from Charlotte NC  -  Semi-pro Photographer

Image quality is unsurpassed, the highest I've ever seen for an APS-C sized sensor. Easy to use with a magnificent viewfinder. I absolutely love the zone AF select, allowing you to select a zone of AF points instead of just one, allowing for lightning fast focusing. Video quality is top notch, installing magic lantern expands the possibilities allowing for even better quality video and audio as well as creativity. 60fps 720p is a major selling point, allowing for epic slowmo. I strongly recommend ML to anyone, even just for still shooting. The 8fps burst mode is great, especially with the AI Servo AF mode. Battery life is impressive. Rear LCD is crystal clear. Can't beat this camera for the price, best APS-C camera on the market, one of the best sports cameras besides the 1DX whose price is 6X the 7D, so comparison is not fair. This camera is also indestructible (check out DigitalRevTV for the durability test)

sherry d  I purchased this but did not get a cd or user guide?
Andrew R  I recommend that contact our customer service department: Toll Free: 800-815-0702 Local: 212-741-0466
Shopper  What do you thing about this camera?
KATHY B  Love this camera! Moved up from the Canon EOS 20D and have been VERY satisfied with this camera and all of it's capabilities. I am primarily an "in-camera" shooter so I like to set my contrast, and temperature, contrast setting etc. internally rather than "photoshop" images after they are shot. I have to admit they I really haven't used it much for the video capabilities because that wasn't my primary interest but I'm sure that's something I'll explore more in the future. Would love the Mark II for it's full-screen sensor but since I don't have the money for that...this camera works great for me!
Shopper  Is this a new camera?
CARLOS M  If you meant like recently released, NO
