Semi-Satisfied: OK for the money.

By

from Chattanooga, TN  -  Photo Enthusiast

I just needed a little camera to carry around that is not big and bulky, like my Canon EOS is. The A2200 was inexpensive, and fit the size I was looking for. The small size is wonderfully convenient, but I'm not really impressed with the photo quality. I've seen some smartphones produce clearer pictures. Of course, I'm still learning the controls, so I may eventually find this camera's sweet spot. As always, ADORAMA had quick delivery of the merchandise. Very good company.

Not Impressed

Disappointed with the auto setting. Pictures were too bright regardless of which setting I used. Thought the quality would be much much better.

Reliable Camera

By

from Pittsburgh, PA  -  Casual Photographer

I used this product casually, for family vacations and parties. The camera is great for someone that is not a professional photographer. It is easy to use and has enough settings to cover your basic needs. The only drawback is that the camera only comes in the color red and it doesn't always photograph well in low light. Other than that, it is a good and reliable camera.

AWESOME CAMERA!!!

By

from Undisclosed

This is an amazing camera! I just received it and am already impressed! Anyone that says, "This camera takes blurry pictures", needs to actually read how to use it. Yes, the camera is a little small, but if it were any bigger someone would complain how it was too big. I cannot wait to use it more!

Very Disappinted in my Camera

By

from ND

My Canon Power Shot A2200 was highly recommended to me by trhe clerk telling me it was an easy camera to use and a great camera. A camera she bought for her own grandmother to use. I thought I was buying a good product but instead I have a camera that sometimes it takes good pictures and other times they are horrrible. At my Granddaughter's birthday party I have some pictures that are good and some that are so blurry that i won't be able to use them in my scrapbook.. At my granddaughter's dance recital my camera took only pictures that were blurry so I have no pictures of that either. Pictures that I have taken outdoors were great and most of them not blurry but the indoors one are horrible. I am so disappointed and frustrated in this camera since I thought I was buying a camera that would last for a long time and would be able to take good pictures but instead I have a real lemon. I have read and re-read the book on the camera and asked the store where I purchased it for assistance but nothing has improved.

Good Value for price

By

from Sacramento, CA

Purchased this a week ago and found it very easy to use. Very intuitive for the controls, (of course I have a couple other Canon cameras). Although others stated the pictures seemed grainy, once sent to my PC they seemed very sharp, and detailed. Only complaint is with my big hands this seems incredibly small in size, it may get lost in the sofa cushions.

Questions about this item:

Cheryl W  how is this different from cameras of 5 years ago? I mean other than more megapixels
THOMAS K  No comparison. There are lots of menus that enable this little camera to do everything my pro SLR's do. Even a "fisheye" lens mode. For the price, you can't beat this one!
Cheryl W  Thank you for answering me !
Shopper  is a new camera?
David M  yes a new camera
Peter B  does it include memory card?
CHANDNESH K  No. I had to buy it separately.
