sometimes a slow auto focus, but definitely took wonderful pictures for both being in a crowd at a concert to going on a backpack hiking trip in the appalachian trails.

This is a great little camera for every day use. It is small and compact, so it is easy to just throw in my purse and go. It takes stunning photos, but has a hard time focusing when it is too dark. It is a little slow at take the photographs as well, but at the end of the day it really gets the job done with great pictures. I love it!

The instruction book that came with the camera did not say that it would work with UHS memory cards. I took a chance, bought a 16 GB UHS card and loaded it into the camera. It worked!

The Canon PowerShot A4000 IS Digital Camera is a 16Mp point-and-shoot with a number of good things going for it. The high-res sensor works together with Canon's DIGIC 4 Image Processor for quality images and 720p HD video. Helping to capture great memories would be the 28mm wide-angle lens, 8x optical zoom, optical image stabilization and a 3.0" LCD monitor. Of course, auto functions, like Smart AUTO, Intelligent IS and Scene Modes, also help to create stunning images without the guesswork. Additional features include the Help Button and lithium-ion power.
