This is only part of an overpriced solution
This product is not complete. It requires purchase of another product. It is completely overpriced as well. Third party offerings that are 100% complete with all required parts are far less expensive on Amazon. This is a waste of money and the order was a waste of time as well just to be disappointed.

I bought this so that I can use my EOS rebel t6 camera for streaming with the EOS webcam utility software. For the past weeks, the camera has been in use for 1.5h straight, 3 times a week with the power adapter. The product has not disappointed me. The camera may get a little warm after an hour of use, but that was expected due to the type of use and it doesn't have to do with the Compact Power Adapter. I would recommend this product to have the camera on a tripod, indoor, and to not worry the batter may run out. I do have the power adapter plugged in a power surge or backup battery because I don't always have reliable electricity.

Needs battery coupler for camera.
They don't make it clear that you also need a battery pack coupler to actually connect it to your camera. Adds up to a $100 power adapter.

A++ worth the extra money do have manufacture why buy and expensive camera and keep out on accessories. Crazy long cord

While the price was high, so was the quality, the wire is a long length which is great works perfect with my Canon M50 and EOS Utility Beta for OBS.

It just flat out works
Works brilliantly! I've tried knock-offs, and they don't work. This fit well, was properly positioned. It allowed my M50 to fire up right away. It just flat out works

Over $50 and no DC Coupler?
For over $50 from Canon you would think it would include the critical DC Coupler. My bad, didn't realize my EOS M50 had no direct power port and required a dummy battery to be able to run on AC. The DC Coupler should have been included. Bought the entire setup on Amazon for under $20 complete.
