Don't waste your money

By

from Ohio  -  Frequent User

The original printer could not even complete setup due to error code claiming a paper jam that didn't exist. Canon told me it was a bad paper sensor and sent a replacement. The new machine got thru setup but the paper jammed every couple of pages whether printing or copying. I've tried different weight paper but with no success. Canon offered to send me another refurbished machine, but I told them no thanks. Sending both machines back. Waste of time and money.

What a nice MFP

By

from Jaffrey, NH  -  Frequent User

This is a very nice compact color MFP unit. Toner cartridge installation is very easy, paper handling is excellent. I started using coated laser print paper, and the output is really nice. I used it in network mode, haven't tried connecting to the built in WiFi yet. My only disappointment is that this unit doesn't seem to work with Canon's tablet printing app for iOS ... maybe it's just not supported yet. I am not sure about toner consumption yet ... the cartridges seem small, and I went through the starter black cartridge pretty quickly, though they say 3000+ pages with average coverage.
