I am on my second P215 II, and scan maybe 10-30 documents daily. They both have had the same problems, 1 jams frequently, 2) it activates by itself, just starts running on it's own, then needs reboot several times throughout the day.

I bought this scanner some time ago and often it would not work on a Win8 system. I have upgraded to Windows 10 and applied the Anniversary updates. Now I cannot get the scanner to work at all. I have tried it on both a desktop and laptop, neither now work. The support web site is useless and has a disclaimer that says "The scanner cannot be guaranteed to work with all USB interfaces."!! They must agree it doesn't work very well for them either.

the scanning is very good, the editing is easy. the biggest negative is the paper feeder. When more than one sheet is inserted, the pages seem to be pulled in together and the result is a mish mash. have to separate the pages and almost have to feed pages one by one. Except for that, it is very easy to use and the results are excellent.
