Rebel T3 has lot of options

from Locust Fork, AL  -  Photo Enthusiast

I purchased a T3 for my wife to replace a Fuji 18X point and shoot. She has really enjoyed the camera and the additional options that my XSI does not have. It only has 12.2 mp but for most people it is enough. It was a great addition since she can also use my assortment of lens.

Love this camera!

from Topeka, KS  -  Casual Photographer

I love this camera! I bought the bundle pack that came with another lens, extra battery, memory card and a carrying case. It was the best deal that I found! This camera is so easy to use. I didn't know much about photography before I bought this. My pictures look great and look professional! I love that I don't have blurring pictures of my kids playing sports or just running around outside anymore!

I love it

from Bayside, New York  -  Casual Photographer

T3 Rebel is my first SLR camera. Although I've used point and shoot cameras for years, the quality of pics from this camera is superior. The fast and accurate auto focus is a pleasure. I do have to get used to carrying a larger camera. I am going to Italy and am anxious to use the camera to capture memories of the trip.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
CHRIS W  Kit had most everything I was looking for to start.
Shopper  does it come with a memory card?
CHRIS B  Yes, mine came with a memory card.
Shopper  This camera doesnt say how many megapixels it is. Also, is this a good camera for still life photography? I am looking for something with good depth and high resolution for capturing details in jewelry and clothing like stitches, writing on buttons with out the image blurring. I am coming from a point and shoot camera but was told that I need a DSLR. I dont really know where to begin.
CHRIS W  It is a 12mp camera. It is a great still life camera as well as action capture and macro. It is a great camera for shooting video also, but you have to make sure that you get the right SD cards for shooting HD video. Class 6 or better. I use Class 10. Anything less than a Class 6 will not record video properly. Even Class six has issues with action capture in video mode. As far as depth and clarity, this is a great camera and is ideal for beginners to professionals. The on screen help and tutorials are great for giving you more knowledge on the camera and its uses to get the best shots.
