Compact, easy to use housing

By

from Central Florida  -  Pro Photographer

I use this housing as a backup to my big SLR aluminum housing- I now use this for my video underwater, and it does a decent job of doing macro and stills, with an external strobe. It can do decent macro with the in camera flash and diffusser, for the casual photographer. Downside is Canon does not make a red filter if you want to video without a light- some after market products are cumbersome to use. Also, there is no way to put on a wide angle lens if we wanted. Does have a cold shoe to add video light or strobe, and fiber optic add on accessory to use off camera strobe with slave feature.

Worth the investment

By

from Phoenix, AZ

Perfect for a get away to the beach. Not only for underwater shooting, but protection from sand. I was hesitant to invest in this for a rarely required use, but am glad I did since I often shoot in windy, dusty environments. Quality of case, ease of use, access to camera functions, and excellent image quality makes it an investment worthwhile.
