The Canon Fine Art Water Resistant Canvas is an authentic canvas product that is made from cotton-poly blend and uses superior-quality coatings that provide a water resistant, matte surface. Because it is authentic canvas, you can stretch and frame your digitally-printed image just like traditional artwork. When you print digital images on canvas, the textured surface imparts a sense of craftsmanship to your work, implying hand painted art.

The material has a nice tight weave finish that does not distract from the artwork. Nice when the artwork does not call for an agressive, deep, weave pattern. Works well in the Canon 8300. It is also less expensive.
The canvas wasn't very durable and seemed pretty dusty. Prints more often than not showed white spots (sometimes as big as 2mm maybe) in dark areas where something was obviously on the canvas and flaked off after printing. Also when stretched it would crack around the bends. I had been using Lyve and Ilford and thought I would give this a try because of the price, but I got what I paid for. Neither of the other brands had these problems. The blacks were very dull, but low contrast prints had a nice look. Another plus was no bronzing (Ilford had some of this).
