Jobo does not interface with iPad2
I purchased the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit and the Jobo 23-in-1 Flash Card Read with the hopes of connecting the various digital cards to the iPad.
First, the Apple camera connection kit, particular the SD card attachment worked as advertised. Just plug the SD interface into the iPad2 and the iPad2 launches the photo application and you are given the opportunity to import from the SD card to the iPad2, but not the other way.
Second, when it comes to the SanDisk CompactFlash cards (used in the pro cameras) one would have to utilize the apple USB/iPad adapter that comes in their kit, and in conjunction with the Jobo 23-in-1 Card Reader, to connect to the iPad. While all the adapters seem to match-up properly when you plug into the iPad you get an error message stating the device will not function as it requires too much power. I'm assuming the issue is with the Jobo Card Reader. Plugging the card reader into the computer or laptop seem to function just fine. Maybe a different card reader with lower power requirements might work but the Jobo does not work with the iPad.
