Stopped mid upload

By

I tried twice to upload images to my computer from an SD card via this device. Both times the upload stopped for no apparent reason. I switched to my old card reader and had no problems, so it wasn't the card, it was the reader.

Does not work!

Can't review a product that does not work. This one was dead on arrival.

Write errors, can make SD unreadable

By

Unfortunately I have to change the opinion: Upon making tests with Crystal Mark to comapre the reader to the old and trusty Kingston reader HS219 I run into constant troblems. In every case the write test aborted with write errors. In one case, the file system on the SD became damaged and I had to reformat the card, clearly by losing all the data. The very same cards tested without an issue with the Kingston reader.

zippy little thing

I was expecting this to be extremely slow as a free add on but it surprised me. This thing transfered 700mb video files in less than a minute. Definetely recommended as it is fast!

Not recommended

The first time I used the reader it worked fine but the second time it refused to download an SD card. During multiple attempts, at the same frame, it would dismount automatically resulting in an error. The same SD card worked fine on another machine. I've never had issues with card readers in the past so am guessing this one's a dud.
