HOME AWAY FROM HOME!
What a great addition! My TV is on my ipad... ANYWHERE! Including on the last Southwest flight I took! I was able to watch my Buffalo Sabres play! Plus-- my sons away at college use our Slingbox 350 to keep current with the news at home... and record and watch their favorite shows!

I bought a refurbished Slingbox 500 to connect to my direct TV box. It is easy to set up and works well. This is a great product!
I thought I would like this new Slingbox until the ADs started. This really stinks. I will surf around a bit and see if I can find a way to turn it off, but this is an annoying deal breaker.
the picture is off color and flickers. then the sound hums clicks and makes static noises.
Have been using this for over a year, works awesome. I have used the iOS, Android, PC Chrome, OS X Chrome, Safari, and Fire TV streaming. really like the fact that the Fire TV is a stand alone app, just wish the guide would show up, iOS and Android have great mobile interfaces, and with the browser support, Chrome is the best. Safari has been getting such stupid ads lately which is why I can't give it a 5 star rating. Lately been having issues, only because both ISP's are having network difficulties.
I've owned it about a year. I have 8mbs up and 1 mb. down. I can't even sling it from the living room for any amount of time. Buffers constantly. Very laggy control. Use on Ipad3 and Roku 3. Just doesn't perform. Frustrating. If it did what they say it does it would be a nice unit. And maybe it does if you have a very fast internet connection.
Just picked up the 350 model to team up with my UVerse at home. Installation was very easy. Just make sure you have your computer logged into the right wifi in case you have several in your house like I do. Once I figured that out were up and running in no time! Picture looks great through my MacBook and the iPhone app. Should've purchased years ago!!
very nice product tested on multiple platforms works wonderful not much lag I have a fast internet. Tried it at 2 other places works well. The tech support was spot on kept me on the phone until I was satisfied with all issues about setup and operation . Recommend and would purchase again.
Tried my new 350 on HD and was amazed at the clarity and movement with only a DSL feed. Definitely exceeded my expectations!
I just recently got this to add to my network, and an existing Pro HD. Generally, setup couldn't be easier, and I love being able to invite users to the unit via email, as I have two young adult kids that get to benefit, and it's a lot less gymnastics setting it up with a simple email. I personally mostly use this on my home network through a MOCA bridge. Video quality is OK, nothing special. It's about par with my Pro HD, even though that's WiFi and specs out as lower resolution output. I am also able to use the integrated IR blaster, which is one less wire. The big 2 things that drop the 350 down in my eyes are the browser experience. First, I can't use my 64 bit browser, which is the most personalized, but the real problem is the Slinbox browser player is not comparable in user experience - even slightly - to the software player. That's why my title says "Get a M1" - it supports a dedicated player app. As my second Slingbox, I can put up with it. I will keep it as a secondary box to the older Pro-HD. The browser window takes up too much space with useless borders. You can't hide the controls unless you go with a popup player full screen. If you go with the popup player, you can't resize it properly. I typically have 2 monitors in my home office. If I get really busy, I can dynamically resize the Pro HD player to the size I want and put it in a corner. I can hide the controls, menu, and borders in video only mode. I can use keyboard shortcuts to resize it, zoom it, bring up and hide the remote, and, most importantly, I can make it stay on top of other applications. There's no way you can make the browser stay on top, nor would you want to, because it takes up so much space. Another browser issue - when you are using the traditional browser, or the popup browser player, and you shrink the player to give you space for other things, too high of a percentage of the space dedicated to the player is not the actual video. Sometimes, the browser will blank out for a second. Every time I hover over the signal meter to check bandwidth, it always blanks out and sometimes disconnects from the slingbox. I get W200 errors all the time, and I'm hard wired to the router and between the router and the slingbox via MOCA. The browser is clunky at best. It forces me to use a browser I don't use for anything else (IE), just so I can also keep using my preferred browser simultaneously (Waterfox - the 64 bit version of Firefox). The Slingbox has great utility. If you've never had the luxury of knowing what a real player feels like, or If you're a casual user you might not miss it. That said, after buying my first car with power windows, I never went back to a hand crank.
I was happy to see the results . I m sure we will enjoy our TV programs to watch overseas, We will report as we go alone
