Corrupt after the first shoot

I purchased two of these cards and THANK GOODNESS I did. I told myself while purchasing it "hey I should get two just incase ones craps out" surely enough one did. It lasted for only ONE shoot (600+ images were taken on it). Thankfully I moved all the images on it onto my computer before it stopped working. After the transfer, my camera (D700) and the card reader wouldn't read it. When I put it into the camera it displays CHR. I plan on getting another card. Maybe this one was just a lemon...

Adorama doesn't refund memory cards. :/ When it did work it was fine. The other card works fine. Just beware and get two if you're considering buying these.

I only consider using San Disk memory cards for my photography needs. They are completely reliable.

Failed to download images

I buy only SanDisk memory cards for their reliability. This is the first time I've run into an instance where I couldn't download images from the card. SanDisk is replacing it but makes me skeptical about the other 2 cards I purchased with this one.

faster in nikon d2x line then newer one!

I test this one and the SanDisk 16GB Extreme Compact Flash Memory Card60MB/s .In two Nikon d2xs side by side and the less 30 MB/s is faster. Save the $$$ and go with this one .I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it over 60MB/s in nikon D2x cameras.I have been using SanDisk cards for many years.

SanDisk cards are dependable.

I felt I needed a few extra high capacity cards for an upcoming trip. I usually download images to a pc, to a portable hard drive and a usb flash drive. This trip I'm going to try and not reformat the cards so that I'll have yet another backup.

Great product!

SanDisk memory cards were recommended to me by my brother years ago. I have never had a problem with one, and I have several. My first 16GB card was bought when I purchased my Canon 7D in order to have space to record video. I wanted another to have plenty of memory for trips I plan to take.

Great Product!

I have never used any other brand than SanDisk when buying a compact flash card. My brother gave me good advice when I asked what brand to buy years ago! There have been no problems, so I stay with what I know works. I bought my first 16GB card when I purchased my Canon 7D to have more space for video recording. For me, it is just what I need.
