A bargain at the price

The speed is great, but the storage makes it worth the price. I can't imagine needing more. Took it on several shoots, each over 300 frames in Raw and JEPG fine and never came close to filling it up. Buy it if you shoot alot, but not for casual users. Is it worth the price? It's a bargain if you shoot a lot!

First Card DOA ---

Camera would write to card but I couldn't retrieve pictures except via copy and pasting the folder, card wouldn't reformat in 5D MkIII, via pc or in 5D MK II or 40D! Card not accessible error in camera after first use.

Lots of space for high megapixel cameras

from Falls Church, VA  -  Professional

Use this with a Nikon D810, and enjoy having a large card for event photography. I use this shooting single and multi-day events and have not had any problems with many cycles of use.

Space & Speed

from Minden, NV  -  Professional

I've been updating my CF cards over the past few years to these faster, larger cards to keep up with the larger files coming from the new DSLRs... These coupled with a newer faster card reader are fantastic. In the camera I don't know that I notice so much that they're superior... but the transfer from the card to the computer is a HUGE time saver. I've been a Sandisk guy for 10 years, had ZERO issues with any of their products.

Fast and stable

fast and stable!

from Houston, TX  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

I've tried other brands with mixed results. This one works as advertised. Super fast and reliable. I upgraded from the 16 GB Extreme Pro, which worked flawlessly too. Just needed more room.

Fast memory card

from Long Beach, CA  -  Semi Pro

It is definitely faster than the regular extreme for the nikon d800 but it can be faster. It works without any problems.

Simply the BEST!

from Elmira, NY  -  Semi Pro

Started using SanDisk CF cards in 2003 and 10 years later have never experienced a failure! SanDisk's products are not only reliable but continue to improve, keeping pace with the capabilities of new cameras. This card keeps the buffer clear and downloads significantly faster than my previous 60MB/s SanDisk Extreme CF card.

The Standard of Quality and Reliability

from Pacific Northwest  -  Semi Pro

I primarily use SanDisk Extreme Pro Compact Flash and SD cards for my photographic work. While more expensive than some of the other brands on the market SanDisk is the recognized standard in digital camera media. The speed of the Extreme Pro means my camera speed will not be compromised by slow data transfer. The cards are well constructed and reliable. I have not had a single failure. SanDisk also provides a downloadable software link for recovering whatever is on the card (videos, photos, data, music, etc.) in the event of a problem. SanDisk also provides a great warranty.

Great CF Card

from Chile  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

Great fast card.

Excellent card for fast shooting

from Whitman, MA  -  Semi Pro

Works great with cameras like the Canon 50d or 70d. Keeps up to the action shooting/recording very nicely. Great investment in memory cards! I can shoot an athletic event and never fill the card with confidence.

Works Great For Me!

from PA  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

This is the 3rd one of these I have purchased. It had good speed & is reliable. Nuff Said!

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
JONATHAN P  Mainly for faster read/write speeds and more space.
Shopper  How long can I shoot for with 32gb using a canon xf100?
RICK H  We use the ScanDisk 32gb on a Focus Enhancement FS-H200 unit and we can record up to 172min.on HD setting. SD setting is 156min.
Shopper  is that good for d800?
CARL F  Yes, this is a good card for the d800. I have had very good results with SanDisk cards. This one is probably as small as I would go with the d800 as it's files are very large and you will fill this card up quickly if you shoot sports at a high frame rate per second.
