I make Bootable USB flash drives so I need speed. Images mount to these drives in half the time as the other USB drives and they are really fast at booting up and running programs on them. They are twice as fast as other drives.
I use this to transfer movies to the kids xbox.
Small size is great and I like the Secure Access for storage of private info, passwords etc. The flip top may not be durable for some people but I have not had a problem with it so far.
This flash drive looked more metal that it is, I wanted it metal one because its going to be stuck to my laptop like iternally. I don't want to search it every now and then. So half is metal that helps heating reduction. Currently I see almost cold, so looks like metal is helping it or its not getting hot.
Delivered an award submission as required by judges. Loved it - small in size, but large in capabilities.
I snail mail music and pix to a friend in Oz mostly but I also give music to a lady that works at the V.A. hospital in Big Spring so she can share them with the patients that are there for a few days or more.
Small,durable, and reliable drive.
This is cheap but idfficult to open and close making it not worth it.
The SanDisk Cruzer Edge did not come with the advertised security feature. I needed to contact the technical help link at SanDisk, and they sent a download link containing the Secure Access Box software. I incorrectly loaded it onto the C-drive and the thumbdrive, causing a conflict that would not let me close the Secure Access Box on the thumbdrive. After a attempting to solve the issue and incorrectly removing the thumbdrive when still open (couldn't close it), I lost the Box and all content. Fortunately I found my error & all is well now. The Secure Access Box works nicely. This is an example of poor quality control by SanDisk. They did not miss the opportunity to load links offering other products on the thumbdrive; but, failed to load what they were offering as a product feature. San Disk also sent instruction on Formating the thumbdrive, so I could clear out the junk I did not order.
