I'ts just ok for me. I take lots of photos w/ a Nikon DSLR and wanted something to print a quick picture on the go. Give away prints fine keepers none.

It was a little harder to set up than I thought - but the printer does a good job - it was worth the effort.

I already owned two photo printers before I got the Epson Picturemate. But the other two printers can't go on the road with me. When I travel, I can produce photos for friends and relatives right away, instead of waiting days or weeks. This makes a greater impact. I've also used the Picturemate to produce photos of an out-of-town construction project, which resulted in a great time saving on the project. The Picturemate also makes contact sheets easier than on my home computer. Best of all, print quality is excellent. My only complaint is that this model does not have an LCD that shows the actual image I'm printing. It does not always print the image I expected, resulting in wasted paper until I get it right.

While this printer will only print 4"x6" color prints it does it to perfection. I own 3 large format epson printers so I bought this for my wife. She and I were so impressed I ordered another for my sister. Print quality and color were excellent out of the box with no computer hookup.

Whether in an album, a frame, or a shoebox, we all want our photos to last. But digital photos are lost every day to hard drive crashes and other mishaps. Epsoncreated PictureMate to help you preserve your memories so even your great-grandkids could enjoy photos of your most loyal companions.
When displayed, PictureMate photos resist fading as much as 2 to 4 times longer than the leading photo lab brands, and about 4 to 20 times longer than other dedicated 4" x 6" photo printers.
Made to share for generations -- even centuries, PictureMate photos last approximately 200 years in a photo album and up to 100 years when displayed in aglass frame. They are also water and smudge-resistant for worry free handling.
