Love the slimline look, lightweight, easier set up than my old HP. Able to scan thick documents such as book pages thanks to the hinged lid that lifts up. When I received it, I was more than pleased, and it was better than described. Very compatible with my new computer that runs Windows 7. All I had to do was insert the CD, follow a few simple directions, and started making copies. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!!!

The software is not tightly integrated into a suite, but works well. Scanning is simple to do.

I like the easy ability to make multipage pdfs for documents. The software is kind of ugly, sometimes the navigation is unclear and you don't get the scan you wanted.

You may ask "Why do I need a separate scanner when my printer also scans?" Most printer/scanners scan at 300dpi. If you want to view or print pictures larger than 4 X 6, you need higher resolution. This scanner is perfect, easy and fast. All at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this scanner.
