About the Epson WP-4520

The WorkForce Pro WP-4520 All-in-One Network Color Inkjet Printer from Epson prints in black and white at 16 ppm, in color at 11 ppm and features a color print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. The printer features automatic double-sided printing, allowing you to cut your paper consumption by up to 50%. Additionally, the large 250-sheet input tray is supplemented by an 80-sheet tray for heavier media. The scanner features 2400 dpi and can be initiated from a computer or from the WP-4520 itself. In addition to scanning via USB to a computer, you can scan to a USB drive, an email address, or to a PDF file. The 30-sheet duplex auto document feeder scans, copies and faxes 2-sided documents in a single pass.

The built-in copy function lets you duplicate 1 and 2-sided documents and photos and can enlarge or shrink the original to anywhere between 25% and 400% of the original size. Other copy features include fit to page, color restoration and auto background removal for text. The WP-4520's built-in 33.6 kbps fax modem can send and receive faxes in black and white and in color. Send multi-page faxes of 2-sided originals in 1 easy step with the automatic document feeder. In addition to using the printer as a stand-alone fax machine, you can use it to send and receive faxes from your computer. The WP-4520 includes a 60-number speed dial and a 180-page fax memory which stores incoming faxes if the machine is out of paper.

In addition to USB connectivity, the WP-4520 includes wired network connectivity for sharing the printer with other computers on your network. The printer is compatible with AirPrint, Google Cloud Print and Epson Email Print which lets you print by sending a file to the printer's dedicated email address. Additionally, you can print from and scan to a USB memory device.
