great product for the price
I teach a photography class to Seniors, they have a need for a product that can maximize the experience of being able to photograph flowers, fireworks family or anything else, and not have to worry about keeping the subject in focus. . the Fujifilm hs50 and the Fujifilm RR-80a are the perfect match for folks with limited stability and budget.

Functions as it should. Good purchase
The traditional manual shutter release cord, which screws into the shutter button hole on the Fujifilm XE-1, & several other models, often gets stuck, ruining the photo. The RR-80A electronic release, which fits into the USB slot in the camera's side, works quickly every time. Build quality is good. Light weight, but well constructed. Holding the shutter open for long exposures is harder than I expected, despite the remote release having a setting for this.
