The iHome iA9 App-Enhanced Dual Alarm Clock Radio for iPhone/iPod (Silver) has a modern aesthetic and striking, backlit LCD digital-clock display with an adjustable dimmer. The system features an Apple 30-pin universal dock that can charge and play the iPhone, as well as docking iPod models. Compact and contemporary, the iA9 features dual alarm clocks that can be set independently for every day, weekday and weekend use. The waking/sleeping alarm audio source can come from an iPhone or dockable iPod, a custom playlist, the integrated AM/FM radio, a traditional buzzer or even a custom app alarm source available through the free iHome+Sleep app and the paid iHome+Radio app. Equipped with several alarm features, the iA9 also has an adjustable nap timer/quick alarm, programmable snooze feature with time settings between 1 and 29 minutes, the Gradual Wake feature that gently increases volume and the Gradual Sleep feature that gently decreases volume.

Besides the universal iPhone/iPod dock, the iA9 also has an AM/FM radio with 12 available station presets, a 3.5 mm line-in jack for connecting auxiliary audio sources and a 3.5 mm line-out jack for exporting the audio signal to a set of headphones or more powerful speakers. The iA9's speaker system uses Reson8 ported cabinet stereo speakers that feature specially designed high-end drivers, which deliver surprising clarity, depth and power for their size. There's also an adjustable EQ with bass, treble, 3D and balance controls for customizing the sound to your tastes.

For added convenience, iHome equipped the iA9 with a Time Sync button, Daylight Saving Time switch, remote control and backup batteries that keep the clock running when the system is unplugged or temporarily loses power. Plus, with an AC 100 - 240 V universal switching power supply that's compatible with worldwide voltage requirements, the iA9 is ideal for international travel.
