Pro: I purchased this compact printer for myself, after seeing a demo in a local store, and have taken at least 40 pictures so far and I love it! You really should HP photo paper with this unit. I tried to use a competitors brand and the picture quality was no where near what I got when I used the HP Premium Photo paper. Con: This is not the fastest print machine I have used. But if you opt for the "normal" photo setting over the "better" photo setting, this does speed the printing process up a little.

I bought this portable printer for my husband last Christmas to take to his deer lease and print pictures while he is there, since he has a motion camera that captures deer, pigs, etc. I also bought him the carrying case for convenience. We have really enjoyed this printer so much. It has been more than we expected. The printer is easy to use and the pictures come out better than my bigger printer sometimes. It is also nice to be able to print 5X7's , 4X6's and wallets. We now have a new grandson and we have taken so many pictures of him and had the convenience of printing the pictures of him in the hospital. I am now ordering one for my daughter (our grandson's mom) so she can have her own as she uses her dad's all the time. We took it to the mountains in Colorado two weeks ago and were able to use my sister-in-law's Compact Flash card and print some of the pictures she had taken. We have been able to use the Xd card, CF card and SD card. Very handy. I would recommend this printer to anyone. I use it more than my big printer for pictures, unless I want to print an 8X10. Great printer for the money.

This printer is fantastic. The print quality matches or even exceeds 35mm prints from the photo mart. I wish I could give it 10 stars!!! One word of advice though, don't change the ink cartidge when it tells you to. Print until you run out of ink, you'll get a few (3-4) more prints that way. This printer is fairly quick, very easy to use, and produces outstanding prints!!!

Prints photo quality pictures, very easy to use, afforadable, purchased one for myself, recommended and a friend purchased and just bought another one for my 7 year old grandaughter who uses mine with ease!!!

I gave this photo printer to my Mother on Mother's Day and she didn't stop printing until the ink was gone. She love to take pictures and she loves to see the immediate result. The ink cartridges are pretty reasonable, too. It's as fast and simple as 123.

I had recently purchased a HPC6180 for our home office and picture printing. IT is wonderful but I wanted a more portable printer so the A616 was just the ticket. It had a few more features than the A515 and a few less than the A716 but for $100 it is just what I needed to take on a trip to Puerto Rico and send pictures home while there. We got the Metro bag to carry and store it in (a must!). THis HP site is fantastic, best prices and FAST Shipping. The printer was sent in 2 days! Overall the A616 is great, my C6180 prints better pictures but I can't haul that baby around!

I would like to say that I have the HP A616 photo printer and I can say that all of the pictures that I have printed with it has came out just as if I had of taken them to a photo shop. I am very happy that I bought this photo printer because I think in the long run I am going to save money on printing my photos.

I just received this printer today. Start-up was easy and the features are great. I have been using a competitor's compact printer for the last 2 1/2 years which I liked but I love this HP printer. I wish I had found it earlier.

I received the printer as a Christmas present last year and have loved being able to print my own photos. Th HP has great quality in the prints however I have had a lot of trouble with it reading the SD cards. I thought at first that it was a problem with the card so I bought a new one. The new card worked fine for a couple of prints, but when I went to use it again, CARD ACCESS ERROR came up again. The system should have a troubleshooting section in the MENU.

I bought this printer as a Christmas present to myself...love it! I like printing the various sizes (5X7, 4X6 and wallets), which I think is the best feature of this printer. I've been scrapbooking an 8 X 8 album with pics from vacation and have been printing many of the pictures in the wallet size. By doing this, I haven't had to "crop" the photos to fit the album. Also, by using the photo printer, I've been able to print ONLY the photos I'm using vs. printing ahead of time at the store and not using all the photos I ordered. Reasonably priced.

Love it! Love it! Love it!. I had been wanting this specific printer for months and finally got it. I love the printing size features to do 5x7 4x6 and wallets. We traveled to Disney last week and I put it right in my suitcase. It is better than I expected. Two of my friends could't believe the print quality that they went out and bought it. I researched and compared many models before purchasing a photo printer. I am very picky about my photos and I appreciate high quality. I am so thrilled with the A616 and I have recommended it to many people. It prints quickly but more importantly it prints with clear, vibrant colors. It is easy to set up and compact for easy portability. I took it with me at Christmas time and several of the families enjoyed its use! It can print from 4 different kinds of memory cards or from your computer.

I bought one for my wife. She was saying that I never printed any pictures for her. Outside of being small and portable, it's cute. I was almost green with envy when I compared the prints from this little guy to the prints from my photo printer, which is a big printer. It is a little slower than mine but the quality is just as good, if not better. My only complaint is that the battery isn't available with the printer for about $20 more. It's $40 and I have not been able to find it in any stores, only on line and right now it is not available, sold out or something. I also bought the case to store/carry it in, for camping or on the boat. (Sometimes it would be nice to see the pictures right away) Just buy the thing, you won't regret it.

I love this printer, just got it for Christmas, it's simple, easy to use. I hooked it to the computer, great software for removing red eye. Great printing quality. You can also add frames to your pictures directly from the printer, I can't say enough about it, I love it. Great price with the rebate.

I got this printer delivered yesterday, had it hooked up in minutes, and was printing seconds later. Very easy to install and operate. Printed over 100 photos in the first sitting and found the printer to be absolutely the best. It is very functional, and the picture quality is abosolutely outstanding. Don't know why I didn't buy this thing months ago!
