Love this Film!

I use this film for an unintended use. I do transfers from it. The film works wonderfully. The only snag I have found is that the ink doesn't release well when printed on by an HP printer. This doesn't really surprise me, but for the most part I print with Epson so it doesn't matter. The only con is that it is a bit pricy. InkPress makes a clear film also that is a bit cheaper, but I haven't tried using it.

HP makes a good product. Works well for our design CAD work. A little pricey. Adorama had the best price and good service.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  In which side is coating, outside or inside?
JON H  I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. But what I would say is this: The product has a Printing side, And a nonprinting side. The printing side is obvious because it has a matte finish and that side receives the ink. The other side is smooth and glossy, so it has a shine to it. The idea is to print any image or content "backwards" on the Printing side so that when you display it with the shiny side toward the viewer everything is oriented correctly. Note also that there is a white strip down each edge in order to help The printers sensors for moving the film through the printer. So the resulting usable width, or transparent area, is really more like 22 as opposed to 24". I hope that helps.
alfonso p  Is it matte or gloss finish. I need gloss finish?
Andrew R  Unfortunately HP does not specify whether or not this clear film is glossy or matte.
