It just doesn't work right!
I installed the tray and I can't get this one to feed paper either! I even set #2 tray as default and locked the #1 tray and it still only feeds from #1 tray.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I purchased this hoping to have an alternate paper source since I normally am printing on multiple types of paper at one time. I was very dissatisfied to find out what a poor product this accessory is. FIRST there is no way this tray can handle anything other than normal plain letter size paper, way to many jams. SECOND I originally thought I would put envelopes, or other papers, in this tray and simply tell the computer to print from the second tray... WRONG. SOOOO many times it will pick up the 1st tray or the second tray or a combo of both, it's like it can't make up it's mind!!! THIRD, I do enjoy the actual printer. It has some very nice features. However, there are also some things I don't understand that were left out... like a manual insert for paper, or that tray 1 is permanent and cannot be removed. That being said, I am happy with the printer, but this paper tray is a HUGE waste of money and plastic!!!

No envelopes
I wanted an extra tray for envelopes but the tray will not handle envelopes.

Envelopes
Having had prior OfficeJets, I was shocked to find the new ones do not have a manual feed. Now to do an envelope, I have to remove the paper, change the guides, insert the envelope, print it, change the guides, put the paper back in. Very inconvenient! In addition where my printer is located, I have to get up go over to it, make the changes above, go back to my computer. After printing the envelope, I repeat the entire process.

No Envelope Tray!
HP needs to remove the "Pro" from this printers name.
Just unpacked this printer, trying to see how to load the envelopes for printing, without shelling out more money.

Outrageous
I bought the printer today, and so far, it's great. However, when I searched for this add-on tray (which I'd hoped to load with No. 10 business envelopes), the price nearly knocked me out of my chair. I can remove the paper, insert envelopes, and switch back when finished quite a few times before spending eighty bucks. Unbelievable.
