The HP Designjet T7100 Printer prints on rolls anywhere from 11 to 42" wide and outputs prints up to 300' long. The fast 15.5 second/A1 print (monochrome) and 17.5 second/A1 print (color) speed together with the 600 dpi resolution team up to produce high quality images in both grayscale and color. The printer works with a wide range of HP media, including plain paper, photo paper, self-adhesive rolls, banners and vinyl.

The printer is equipped to handle media up as thick as 15.7 mil and weighing up to 328 g/m2. The HP thermal inkjet printing provides a lower cost-per-page than LED printers for more affordable in-house printing. Additionally, built-in Ethernet connectivity lets several users share 1 printer instead of requiring 1 printer for each person. Furthermore, the printer is optimized for long, unattended print runs thanks to its compatibility with long media rolls (external roll diameter up to 7.08") as well as an automatic cutter and media bin for finished prints.
