I am an Independent Consultant, a Road Warrior. There are too many times that the Business Center of the hotel is non-existent or may be dysfunctional or not available when you want to print/copy something. With this printer I no longer have to worry about it. I can either pack it in my checked baggage or in my carry on. It is light weight. You can easily create double sided documents that will save your paper. It is simple to use. The only thing is it tends to do a lot of rocking while it prints. I also carry a small scanner so I have my own business center in my room to take care of all my business needs.

We use this printer on the road or as an adjunct to our kitchen laptop when we're home. It works great when hardwired with USB cable when we travel and a dongle to connect wirelessly through our router when we're at home. I highly recommend it's versatility and it's small foot print,

Prints good, transports nicely, lightweight. It takes time to think, so to speak, between pages when printing multiple page document.

I purchased this printer over a year ago and I've never regretted my decision. As I remember at the time, it cost more than the current price. I need mobility in my professional life and this printer more than exceeded my expectations. I use it in my car as I travel. The battery has never let me down but I do turn it off and on as needed. I am even able to print envelopes and it's faster and easier than my office printers. I did have some issues as I was setting up the wireless funtion but technical support walked me thru it in no time. A great product! I highly recommend it especially if you have a mobile office.

Purchased because we travel a lot for extended periods of time and shipping a large printer ahead is costly. This printer is light and I have added a wireless connection which works with all computers on the lan. Only draw back is that it is not as sturdy as I would like. Thin plastic and one metal strip has already fallen off from God knows where although it does not seem to impact it's operation.

I bought this printer for my son as he needed something small and powerful to carry to races. He times races for 5k through Marathons for various organizations. His program calculates all the times for the runners on his laptop as they come in and then he sends it to the printer and "zap" the stats are all printed out for everyone to see. This little printer is fast and reliable. Works with both his Vista and Win7 computers.

I would highly recommend this printer, especially if you are using Windows 7. I did have a little trouble getting checks to print properly using Windows XP. However, since I purchased a new laptop with Windows 7, this problem has resolved.

I've had the hp 460 for 3 years and operated almost flawlessly with heavy usage. The hp 470b was purchased to replace the worn out hp 460 but unfortunately, I am on the 2nd replacement (3rd total) hp 470b since April 2010. Multiple problems with carriage; had it not been for the great folks at HP, I would be cursing the unit.

I purchased this printer to take with me on an extended trip in the motor home. It has more than pleased me. Infact, I use this print for print jobs at home. I love the speed and the quality. It is great to have the ability to print great quality without taking my Laser printer with me. I only wish that I had bought battery with it. I am planning to add that feature before our next vacation. I highly recommend this product to everyone for every use.

I use this printer daily, I have it mounted in my Patrol vehicle, where it gets subjected to alot of vibration, it continues to perform well, I am using the bluetooth setup and it works great, battery life is excellent, I will use it all week and remove it on the weekends to recharge, All the other Troopers who have seen it are now looking to purchase this printer.

I have had my hp470 for 2 years. it has never let me down. on the road 75% of the year and this printer is so easy to cart around. i have to get a new one now because my precious little 14yo son discovered how cool this printer is and stole it! kids... I would probably even buy this printer if i was working from home. it is just really easy and reliable.

The printer, plus the portability, because it can be battery powered, is great. However, I can't give it the highest rating because the bluetooth wireless feature isn't very reliable, as far as my experience goes. It worked for a while, then quit. I used an H-P bluetooth dongle, which did the job for a while, but then quit. Another dongle didn't do anything. It's not a pain to carry a usb cable around, but it's not exactly Wireless!

I purchased this printer to use in my tax prep business. It's small, light and easy to set up. When I go to a client's home or office, it takes no time to get set up and the print quality is amazing for such a small printer. If you are really going to use this on the go then I suggest you purchase the carrying case which will hold both your laptop and the printer, and a ton of office supplies. I am so glad I found this product. It allowed me to expand my business, and my clients are thrilled that when I leave they have all their paperwork in hand.

Well, it would be really cool the powerpack was inside the printer as option in the battery space so I wouldn't need to lug around the external powerpack. I think that would make it more 'portable' - the powerpack is sort of a pain to pack. I usually have access to electric outlets and didn't get the model that has a battery.

Great companion to the Tx2z touchsmart notebook. It really is similar to the childrens story about the train that said, "I think I can, I think I can..." It exudes an endearing almost charm like disposition. Even though its not an "all in one" or the most feature laden, printer, it just fits. Suites the indivual who likes the "mini" mobile concept.

Let me just say that drivers are more important than hardware. The H470wbt is an example of a product that doesn't meet this test. I refer to them as the anti-urgency-of-need drivers because whenever I really really need to print something, for whatever reason my documents go no further than the print spool forcing me to reboot both the printer and my computer. Guys, you need to find some software developers who can: 1. Write printer drivers that really work, all the time 2. Write an installer that is intuitive and easy to use 3. And can do it in less than 168 megabytes compressed!!

I travel to many out of town meetings and conferences. Agreements worked out during these meetings on a laptop can now be put in printed form at once on the HP Officejet H470 and made smooth for signature, while all of the people involved are still together at the meeting. Nothing else does this job as well. Print quality is first rate. Having the H470 with me increases my ability to do quality work promptly when I am on the road.

I am a busy pharmaceutical rep. I bought this printer with the anticipation of being able to generate reports, routings, and lists right on the spot. Many times my "pod" partners and I meet for breakfast or lunch and have to leave to make copies of our work. Now, we just meet, and are able to make copies for each other immediately. I would recommend buying the extra battery if you do not have A/C capability, but if you are sitting in Panera Bread or Starbucks with power, you are good to go. The quality of the copies is AWESOME. Don't think about it any more...get it!!! It saves a ton of time and in my field...TIME IS MONEY!!

This printer is great for college students. I have to type my paper then convert the format and save it to flash drive, take it to the library and print it out. Now, I don't have convert and save to flash. I just print it out right there. I would definately recommend for those going off to school this fall. The price is a little high, but the performance is great!

Don't let the size fool you! This little portable printer is perfect because I am able to plug and go on campus when my papers are due. Often times the lab printers have five to 10 people deep waiting to print. It is smooth and quiet. The print quality is superior. The only reason why I did not give the HP Mobile printer a five star rating was due to the cost of the pricy battery...but overall this purchase has made me a proud and happy person in the printing world. Definitely I am getting my money's worth!!!!

This little printer is great. It's actually faster than my desktop printer and has as good, if not better, print quality. If it had multifunction capabilities, I'd toss out that giant brick that takes up tons of real estate on my desk and replace it with this. The wireless aspect was a little challenging to set up but the HP supprot desk was able to walk me through the setup and get it connected, great people, great machine I can now meet with clients in their homes and print off their paperwork while I'm sitting in front of them. It has increased my productivity in the field and saved an immense amount of follow up meetings to sign paperwork. If you are doing anything that requires meeting clients away from your office, this printer is a must have. There are plenty of other printers out there, beleive me , I looked at them all. When it came down to it, I chose this printer for it's ruggedness, speed, # of pages printed per ink cartridge, and HP's reputation. It exceeded my expectations for each of those criteria. This was one of the best purchases I've made for my business in a very long time.
