I am very particular about the type photo paper I use. I print lots of pictures and I will use only the best paper. I can't usually find it in the store so I order it from HP online. There is no shipping charge and it usually gets here within a few days. I have been using the high gloss Premium Plus Photo paper but this time I ordered the matte and I like it as well. Both are very good and I would reccommend it to anyone who wants good pictures.

HP Premium Photo Paper, Matte is the ONLY 4x6 photo paper that I have tried that I like. I was VERY disappointed when my last box said it was going to be discontinued. I have tried HP Everyday, Advanced & yes, even the 'recommended' replacement Premium Plus. I recently bought the glossy Premium Plus when I was having a hard time finding the Premium Matte. It is AWFUL!!! Pictures look much worse! I threw the box in the corner and refuse to give people pictures that look that bad. I really hope HP reconsiders discontinuing this product. I don't know what I will end up using if it is......probably will switch to a different brand since I already know I don't like any of the other HP photo papers.

This is the best matte photo finish paper available to non-retail users ... EXCEPT that tab is useless and detracts from the finished photo. I've tried cutting it off, but it makes the picture uneven. If you tear along the perforation, it will keep part of the tab affixed. Paper and image quality super, but HP needs to get rid of the tabs.

As the options for Matte finish paper keep being cut down, we started using this paper and it has performed just as we wanted. We have run through more than 10 packages of this to print pics for friends and for keeping in our albums and it has been great. We've had no complaints with either of our Photosmart printers when using all HP inks.

I have been using HP Premium Plus photo paper for years ... out of nowhere HP has changed their line of products and the "new" HP Premium Plus isn't even close to the quality of the previous line. It doesn't even compare to the HP Advanced paper from the previous line. This one-time loyal HP guru is not happy. Selling my D7260 and will never buy HP again.

Keep fingerprints at bay! This matte, soft-gloss photo paper gives you handy 4 x 6" snapshots by simply tearing off the perforated tabs.
