For years, I've loved the HP Premium Plus photo paper that had product number Q5450A (keep that in mind - it's important). Beautiful colors and sharpness. However, I recently ran out of paper and purchased some of the new stuff that carries product #CR671A. This stuff stinks. Awful colors, contrast and no ability to pick up small details in sky backgrounds. I've just gone on Amazon and purchased 200 sheets of the old #Q5450A paper so I have an ample supply. So, those of you who are writing good reviews of the HP Premium Plus paper, double-check the product number. My guess is that you're reviewing the old stuff, not the new stuff. It's changes like this that apparently cost HP so much over the past year or two and why their CEO was just fired. I say that HP should go back to the old, reliable #Q5450A as soon as possible. Just my 2 cents.

The Hp Premium Plus 8.5x11 soft gloss paper (50 count) with the product number Q5450A is the best photo printing paper I have ever used. I take headshots and production pictures for my local high school's drama department so I often print photos in 8x10 or 8.5x11. The photos are always brilliant and I have been asked by a number of people, what photo paper I use. A few months ago I bought a 50 count box of HP Premium Plus 8.5x11 soft gloss paper. I immediately noticed that something was not right with the photos I printed with this paper. The photos were muddy rather than brilliant. Turns out, this box of HP photo paper was being introduced as new and improved because of it's "instant dry" feature. The product number for the new paper begins with a C but I don't have the entire number because I threw out the paper.

I have been using Premium Plus Photo Paper, Soft Gloss for years...I just opened a new batch and immediately could see and feel the difference....the print work was horrible, colors were not the same as with the last batch, paper was lighter. Your ECOHIGHLIGHTS...New & Improved Instant Dry paper does not speak well of HP paper products!

I just received of the product batch # CR667A and I'm not happy with it. If they stick with this style I will purchase for years to come. I couldn't be happier with this paper. If they are switching the style to the above mentioned number, my days are over for buying this. Please continue to make the old paper.........please

I love this paper! The soft gloss is gorgeous for all types of printing, not just photos. My projects came out 10x better on this paper than Epson Satin Presentation paper.

I printed with my HP Photosmart. It shows perfect when the picture is dark. But the bright blue sky and "big face" under the sun is a little bit strange, I thought it's different from the one in screen. But overall, perfect~

I've used all different kinds of paper. I've printed duplicate copies on different paper. I've quit using other paper because it don't produce the color and quality I want in my photos. I now only use HP Premium Plus Photo Paper for all my Photo printing. I want the best!!!!

I use this paper on all my prints, portraits look amazing on the soft finish. I shoot alot of flowers and nature, the soft gloss makes the photos look very similar to the natural light when the photo was taken.
