Ikelite Underwater Housing for the JVC GR-DZ7 Camcorder

The delightful size housing allows you to capture the moment with the latest digital video technology, including digital stills that can be printed orsent as electronic mail. Changing between video and stills underwater requires only the flip of a switch.

Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and assurance the system is safe.

Housing only measures 6" wide; 10.5" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8.5" high including the removable base; and 9.5" deep including knobs and port. A complete housing and camera combination weighs only about 9 pounds.

The housing operates safely to 200 feet. The housing lens port is threaded for 67mm wide angle lenses of Inon and Epoque.

The base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attachingof the optional Pro Video-Lite II battery pack. The handle assembly detaches from the housing by removal of just two nuts for packing.

Optional #9290.94 External Mirror can be added, allowing viewing of the LCD screen from the rear.

VIDEO-EYE / SUPER-EYE: This special viewfinder enhancement device is included with each housing to magnify the image in the camera viewfinder allowing use while wearing a diving mask.

INSTALLATION AND USE: The housings are sized and weighted for near neutral buoyancy and superb handling underwater. Camcorder installation is quick and simple. The clear end cap allows visual confirmation that the housing is sealed properly before you enter the water.

UR/PRO COLOR FILTER: The patented UR/Pro color correcting filter is included with each housing to enhance the warm reds and oranges so easily diminished underwater. Perfect for sunlight situations underwater to 24m (80 feet) depth.

The base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching of the optional SpD video light and battery pack. Entire handle assembly easily detaches from the housing.
