Housings for Sony Digital Video Cameras (camera not included). Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and assurance the system is safe, allowing you to see if the case is sealed.

Housing measures 5" wide, or 11" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8" high including the removable base; and 9" deep including knobs and port. Weight above water is less than ten pounds. Optional Type 2 Inon UWL-100 and Epoque wide angle lenses attach directly to the port. Sony #0630s wide angle lens can be installed inside of the housing.

The base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching of the optional Pro Video-Lite II battery pack. The handle assembly detaches from the housing by removal of just two nuts for packing. Housing allows use of the optional Sony NP-FP50, NP-FP70 and NP-FP90 batteries, and accepts the optional Ikelite #9290.95 Mirror assembly.

VIDEO-EYE / SUPER-EYE This special viewfinder enhancement device is included with each housing to magnify the image in the camera viewfinder allowing use while wearing a diving mask.

The housings are sized and weighted for near neutral buoyancy and superb handling underwater. Camcorder installation is quick and simple. The clear end cap allows visual confirmation that the housing is sealed properly before you enter the water.

The patented UR/Pro color correcting filter is included with each housing to enhance the warm reds and oranges so easily diminished underwater. Perfect for sunlight situations underwater to 24m (80 feet) depth.
