Exactly what I wanted

I wanted a scanner that was reasonably priced to quickly scan the boxes of photos I've accumulated. I didn't need GREAT quality, just good enough to flip through. It comes with a sleeve to protect the photo, but I never use it unless the edges are worn and won't feed. On the lower resolution, the scan time is very quick and the quality of the pictures is fine. I set it up in less than a minute. You don't need to load the software, you can just put the SD card in your computer. I've scanned 400+ photos and I couldn't be happier with this scanner.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  does it need a usb cable, and the ink cartrages?
STEPHEN A  It scans the photo's or negatives and stores them to a SD card (included is a 4gb mini SD and a converter card) also included is the USB cable to attach it directly to your PC. The scanned item is eithe stored to the SD card or directly to your PC is connected. Printing would be don from your current printer.
Shopper  What are the resolutions of this. Does it give a good picture quality?
MARY T  I"m very pleased with this! I've been able to scan some old negatives that belonged to my mother. Some are too old or too big to scan. I have scanned a few personal photos and I have been very happy with the quality.
Shopper  How do you like your koda scanner?
ADAM D  So far, it is okay. There are small lines that frequently streak through the scanned image. But I'm not scanning high quality images, just old slice-of-life photos. I'm just trying to get a quick and easy digital copy and this works pretty well for that.
