Working well

I've used this card in a 5D Mk II since Dec. 2011 with no problems. I've shot thousands of frames on it and formatted it over and over. I have not used it for video though, so I can't speak about that. It transfers pretty fast with a Sandisk Firewire 800 reader. Knock on wood, but so far, so good.

The cards were duds

I ordered these cards to be sent with a friend from CA as I live out of country in south Patagonia. The cards arrived without the recovery disk data and I thought nothing of it until I used the cards and found out they were bad. Now I am stuck out of country with no response on how to retrieve the photos I took on a shoot in the Darwin Mountains and have no way to get them back to Adorama for exchange. I would not choose these lexar cards again.

excellent product

I am a wedding and event photographer, using two D800 cameras, and this product is ideal for the large files these cameras produce. they write very quickly, so there's no buffer stall, even when shooting rapidly-if you can call four frames per second rapidly. they also have great storage capacity. I love them, and will continue too use them.

Unable to Format and Corrupt Images

By

from Oakland, NJ  -  Professional

I have have many instances this year coming away from a wedding and finding a few corrupt images...lost a cake-cutting! Almost every time I shoot a few hundred images a couple will be corrupt. Also an issue now with a 2nd card that cannot be formatted in camera or PC. I have about 8 of these but I think I need to switch to SanDisk.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  will the 400x rate work well with the canon 7d full HD video?
PHILLIP V  Yeah. Doesn't matter what speed card you have necessarily but just how much storage you need.
ROMAN P  speed does matter a bit, because if you use cards slower then x233 then you might fill up your buffer on the camera and video might get a bit jerky. when i bought my first 5dm2 i didnt have any high speed cards above x233 and when i played back whatever i recorded on my slower cards i was dissapointed in the camera, but a friend who has a pretty well known production company around my town told me "make sure you use x233 or higher" so i tried out x400 and was then impressed with the video.
Bill A  are these type 1 or type 2 cf cards?
JIM W  They are type 1 - 3.3 mm thick.
