I've used Lexar from back around the 4gb period and speed wasn't an issue. With my new Canon 5D Mark ii, or any other high megapixel camera, the speed and size do matter quite a bit. Even though my 5D Mark ii with 21.1mp images at only 3.9fps, that can be near 100mb per second. 600x seems to be enough x 32gb. But, if you're like me, living the CF life, Lexar are the best and only ones I trust.

Great performing card, never sluggish!

By

from Grand Rapids, Michigan  -  Professional

For shooting video or RAW photos, these cards have never faltered, never sluggish. I have never overheated them in the Canon 5DmkII on 10-14 minute video rolls. This is reliability in the field when working.

Necessity if Shooting Sports RAW

By

from Buenos Aires, Argentina  -  Professional

It's expensive, but if like me you shoot sports and blow through a couple of thousand shots a game in RAW, the last thing you want to be doing is constantly be changing cards. This gets the job done.

Works well

By

from South Riding, VA  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

I bought this because I needed more storage space, plus, my Canon 7D would bog down when I was in burst mode. I hoped this fast card would increase the number of shots I could take while bursting. Sadly, my camera still bogs down after 10-20 shots, so the problem doesn't seem to be related to media speed. However, I have a good card that has a lot of space so and I learned something, so I'm not too dissatisfied. It was just a kind of expensive experiment. But the card is good.
