Although the advances in technology have made these cards virtual dinosaurs, I still have use for them. This was an excellent value for a product with a trusted name.

I know there are quicker cards out there, but this is my fastest card and I'm very pleased with its performance. I use it with a Pentax MX-1, so I need all the help I can get from my SD card as the camera can be a bit sluggish at times. Though I still love shooting with it.

I rotate 2 of these cards so I always have a blank one ready ion my camera while I'm processing the other. Reads and writes FAST. I've always liked the Lexar brand.

A professioanl photographer enlightened me on the advantages of having multiple 8 Gig. memory cards over the larger 32 or 64 Gig. cards. The concept is to keep the photos on the card when done downloading on your computer and store them away without the need for a hard drive backup. The other option is to give the card to others without having to make a CD copy. For about $10 a card it saves work and is cost effective. Also, the speed and quality of these cards is phenomenal.

Reliable. Dependable. The biggest compliment you can give on electronics anymore is they will be there when you need them. I use them in a Nikon D7100 for portrait sessions. If you need more speed for sports the 600X or 1000X are better suited. For stills, portraits these cards are great and perfectly priced.

I have only used the cards for about two weeks in a Nikon D7000 camera. They are very fast & do what they are made for. I am going to get another set of them for back-up. Very good & resonable price. Always have a very good experience and fast shipping with Adorama. I have used Adorama for many years.

I just slammed this into a low-line Canon point-and-shoot, to keep in the car for emergency (insurance issues) use. Made a few test shots, and it worked fine - as expected. I use Lexar's 32GB 1000x CF cards in my two DSLRs, and am very happy with their speed and reliability, so thought I'd go there for this application. 'Worked out well.

I came to the realization that a extra large memory card did not fit my needs. I have purchased 32 Gig. cards in the past and find the amount of data they hold is to large and cumbersome. With 4 and 8 Gig cards I can afford to pull the cards when done shooting and download later. Also, I have been able to give a loaded card to others and let them edit their own. These cards are very fast with excellent quality and the two pack concept makes them very affordable. I will buy more of these when needed.

Recently had to use it on a video project and it performed beautifully on the Sony HXR-NX5U. They also work great on the Panasonic Gx1.
