The Mitsubishi EW230U-ST Ultra-Short Throw WXGA Projector is ideal for presentations when space is tight. Since it can display a 60" image on a wall from only 25" away, casting shadows during your presentation will be much less likely. It also has 1.3 times the resolution as an XGA projector. Weighing just over six pounds, it can be used in both mobile and stationary applications. The EW230U-ST has several inputs that increase its flexibility. For high-def quality signal transmission this model offers an HDMI input. HDMI is an uncompressed, all-digital audio / video interface. By delivering crystal-clear, all-digital audio and video via a single cable, HDMI dramatically simplifies cabling and helps provide users with the highest-quality projection and presentation experience. There are dual PC inputs for connecting more than one computer to a single projector, which broadens the scope of your presentation to include multiple PCs. There is a LAN terminal for linking with a network and a serial terminal for RS-232C connection. The video and S-video terminals are paired with two 3.5 mm mini jack audio inputs and an RCA input. There is a monitor output and an audio output as well. The audio output allows you to run the sound through a more substantial speaker system.
The automatic subtitle function uses a built-in closed caption decoder to convert words into subtitles.
