I purchased this tripod mostly for when I use my Sigma 800mm lens and with my Induro Gimbal head. The tripod is solidly built with no inferior design or construction methods. It is as solid as the comparable Gitzo carbon and the price for this was what my wallet could afford. It comes with a small tool kit and carry bag although I prefer a nicer case I got from Calumet for this. I first ordered the CT314 but found it was not stable enough for the 800mm lens so reordered this one.
