About Nikon L28

When a special moment happens, you don't want to be fussing with your camera you want to be capturing the sights and sounds while still enjoying yourself. The Nikon COOLPIX L28 does all the thinking for you, so you can just point, shoot and rest assured the results will be great. Every COOLPIX is designed around a genuine NIKKOR glass lens, the legendary optics that have made Nikon famous. The COOLPIX L28's 5x zoom NIKKOR lens is great for everything from wide-angle group shots to close-up portraits. Plus, electronic Vibration Reduction keeps every shot steady, even if your hands are not.

When a photo alone won't do, press the dedicated movie button and instantly start recording 720p HD video in widescreen format while the built-in microphone captures the sounds of the moment in high fidelity. When you're ready to share your creations, use an optional audio video cable (EG-CP14) to connect to your compatible TV. Your friends and family will see your movies come to life on the big screen.

The COOLPIX L28 is so easy to use, anyone can take great photos and videos with it. Just turn the camera on, point, shoot and marvel at the results. For maximum point-and-shoot convenience, select Easy Auto Mode. It automatically optimizes the camera settings for each shot, no matter how challenging the situation. You'll be free to enjoy the moment while you capture it.

Experienced photographers optimize their camera settings to match the situation. The COOLPIX L28 does that work for you. With 20 Scene Modes, including Beach, Snow, Night Portrait, Sunset and more, it's easy to match the moment to a Scene Mode. You can even get creative and use Scene Modes to alter ordinary shots. Or, select Scene Auto Selector and let the camera choose the best mode for your situation.

VERY VERY BAD CAMERA

By

from Undisclosed

DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA! I bought this camera specifically for a trip in three weeks where I cannot easily charge the reusable batteries on my reliable Sony. This camera has broken before I even used up the batteries it came with from the store. I only managed to take circa 80 pictures and videos before the only thing it would do is show a broken flower on the viewscreen and not do anything else. Moreover, the pictures and videos I did manage to take are in a format that Adobe Premiere Elements does not like--I have to manually edit each one to get it to be accepted. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CAMERA.

Not worth the money

By

from Undisclosed

I have been using Nikon for a number of years and the problem that occurs is the viewing screen is touched the wrong way and it breaks. I use a camera daily for my job. After going through 6 in a little over a year, I changed brands. I purchased an LG at roughly the same price and it lasted nearly 2 years. Upon that camera breaking, in a hurry, I decided to try your product again. I bought this camera on 12/24/2013 and exactly 2 months later, the same thing happens. So needles to say, I have gone with another brand. I would in fact like my money back for this item.

Reliable

By

from Northern California  -  Semi-pro Photographer

We have several of these Nikon L28's. They are a good reliable camera and the photos are very good. They don't take the place of my D7000, but an L28 is easier to slip into a pocket and take on a motorcycle ride than a full sized DSLR.

Good low cost camera

Very good inexpensive digital camera. I have high end Nikon digital and love it, but this is a good down and dirty scenery shooter. Took it on a cruise and loved the results.

Good Camera for the price

By

from Campbell, CA  -  Photo Enthusiast

The ease of use is good. Just point and shoot. The auto focus sensor is sensitive, so compose carefully. It will make some photos out of focus if you do not hold still, or firmly. I used it at the beach and took 60 photos in high wind and full sunlight and 55 of them were really good. I would recommend this camera.
