I just got it recently but have been using it for close up photography thus far. Saying that, I must admit I am very happy with the turn out of all the photos and the camera function.
I already own the Nikon D7100 and wanted a backup camera. What I needed was to have a close control layout, and the D7000 definitely fit that criteria. Had it for almost 2 weeks and can say it's hard to see any differences and most important to me the control layout are identical. I can switch cameras and not skip a beat. I'm not going to get into a side by side comparison there certainly are enough of those already on the web. Love the D7000, the feel and the build are almost identical. A great purchase I couldn't be happier, and you can't beat the price.
A great camera, value for money, I have it for about 2 months and I have test in several situations (day, night, landscapes). I'm not a professional photographer but this camera completes 100% my needs.
I was looking for a backup camera and I found this deal, it works great, very impressed, thanks so much
Use camera for Outdoor action, portrait and indoor events. The price compared to performance is perfect. A refurb makes it even more attainable.
I had been wanting to upgrade from my old D80 and now that I have been using the camera for a couple of weeks I am very happy i did. The pictures and screen are far sharper than my old camera and the interface permits quicker, better control while shooting. So far this is a great camera!
Absolutely wonderful camera. 2 card slots allow for raw and jpeg. I am a street photographer so I love the U1 and U2 functions that allow for a change in total camera settings with a flick of the switch. It is also water proof which allows many more worriless days on the street. No issues what-so-ever, the king of the hill for dx format.
I bought the D7000 to replace my D90. I didn't find a substantial enough difference and returned the D7000. Took same shots of same places. Disappointing results. I will upgrade instead to the newer model. I bought a D3200 at the same time as an ever present camera pocket camera and I liked the quality of the images better than the D7000 -- although the D3200 lacks some powerful features I value and need.
The camera looks and acts like brand new. It came with 2250 shutter actuations. The order was delivered early.
This camera is a great upgrade for anyone using a D3100 or even a D3200. It feels solid in the hand and you'll love the 6 frames per second. You can't wrong with this camera.
