The Olympus E-System and Zuiko Digital LensesTM are designed to meet the everyday needs of professional photographers.

With digital specific lens designs and unrivaled optical elements, unsurpassed image quality is achievable in an interchangeable lens SLR system, no matter what aperture you choose. What a Great Lens!

I bought the kit with the two lens's. My first upgrade was the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5.(great lens also)I purchased the 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5, just before going to a family reunion knowing it would get a good workout, right away. To say the least, I was blown away by this lens as compared to the "kit" lens. Crisp, clear, fast, perfect focus. Just a great lens!

The lens was used & not graded properly

First let me say that the lens was in such poor condition sold to me from Adorama used sales. The lens was graded as good (which in their eyes can have issues) It should have been graded as the worst level they had. The focus was out & the rubber was chewed up badly, no caps or hood. I returned it and was only given a refund for the lens, I had to pay both ends of the shipping. This should also be refunded, since it was their mistake for not checking out the used gear properly.

Great Upgrade from the Kit Lens!

By

This is a significant upgrade from the 14-42mm kit lens that came with my E-600. Noticeable performance improvements in all areas for a price that's not outrageous. Highly recommended!

Too bad 4/3 format is on its way out.

I bought this lens and loved it. In fact, I loved the Olympus E-system. It was highly underrated. However, unfortunately, the E-system is not very viable at this time. If you own an E-System, this is a great lens at a great price.

I use it instead of the kit lens that came with my Ep-1. This lens is faster and sharper. Built to last..

A excellent lens at a reasonable price

By

from Mequon, WI  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

I would highly recommend this lens. It has a quick focus and the 3-1/2 FPS meets my needs for photographing race cars and other action. As a long time user of Olympus products I have never been disappointed. The only negative is that the lens hood is very hard to attach and even harder to detach. I stop using the hood as I am afraid of breaking something trying to twist it on and off.
