Works like a Charm...

Much easier to use than the stock lens cap, due to the center-pinch release. I am going to order another for my other lens... Steve

Perfect fit

By

from Orlando  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

Bought this after I bought the lens hood for the Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm f/4-5.6 Zoom Lens. When the lens hood is in use it is impossible to remove the original cap from the lens. This one works great. Hated that I had to buy another lens cap, but I like this one more than the original one, so I guess it was for the best.

Perfect OEM replacement

I lost my original one. Of course I was worried this wouldn't fit for some crazy reason, but it was a perfect/exact replacement.

Perfect for my 75mm m4/3 lens

By

from Orlando, FL  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

This cap is perfect for my 75mm m4/3 lens. When you put a hood on the lens, the cap that came with the lens is unusable. This cap has pinch holders in themiddle that enable to put & remove with cap with the lens hood on. Perfect!

fantastic lens at a fantastic price

By

from Antioch, CA  -  Photography Student

The lens is great, it fits my Olympus camera perfectly and the click on effect is great so it won't fall off or come off on its own without me squeezing the ends together.

Questions about this item:

Walt L  wilol this cap fit a 14 - 45 mm f:3.5 -5.6 lens?
STEVE W  I didn't know that Olympus had a lens of this configuration, but given the smaller f-stop range of the lens you mention it is likely that it would be a smaller diameter lens than this cap would fit.
Shopper  is this the same as the original lens cap that came with the olympus pen 3 zuiko 14-42 mm?
STEPHEN P  No. This for an e-system camera lens not the pen.
Shopper  Will this fit an Olympus C-740 Ultra zoom?
AARON M  No, I don't think so; as far as I can tell, this 58mm cap is too big. I did a little digging to see if I could find any info, and it looks like the Olympus C-740 has a special cap that fits in the lens surround when the camera is switched off and its lens is retracted. I don't think that special cap is available separately, but your camera should have come with a screw-in adapter tube that allows it to take a 52mm filter. If you have that adapter tube, you can attach a 52mm lens cap on the end, including the Olympus LC-52B or LC-52-C (I'd go with the LC-52B). If you don't have that adapter tube, search on these words: Olympus C-740 adapter tube. They're pretty easy to come by. There's also another accessory you might want to check out called an "OLYCAP." Add a dot com at the end of that name and you'll find the thing, and I think it may solve your problem. If none of that works for you, turn your camera off so the lens is retracted. If the rim surrounding the retracted lens sticks out farther than the lens (or at least is flush with the lens and has a little clearance around it), try measuring the inside diameter of the rim. It's most likely going to be 43mm, 46mm, or 49mm, and a snap-on lens cap of whichever size you measured might fit your camera (Adorama has multiple choices available). Hope that's helpful!
