I used this product snorkling on the Great Barrier Reef and in Figi. The pictures came out beautifully and I had no problems with the housing or my camera. I discovered that when I used the flash the colors in the coral and fish were greatly enhanced.

I use this for the DMC-ZS8. I have taken down to 110 feet with no issues. All functions accessible with the housing. I use both weights for slight negative buoyancy. I have taken pictures and movies and they have turned out fine. No issues with zoom lens hitting housing as mentioned in previous reviews but I use a different camera than that reviewer. RON T No, it fits the Panasonic camera it is designed for like a glove, and won't work even with very close siblings in the Panasonic line - so it is very unlikely that it will work with another brand..

NICHOLAS H DMW-MCTZ20 is only compatible with certain Panasonic Lumix ZS-series cameras. The interior is form-fit to these cameras and the operating buttons which extend through the case are positioned uniquely for these Lumix ZS cameras.

BRIAN P From my understanding, this housing is good down to about 144'. I used it for snorkeling in Curacao and it was fantastic. If you follow the directions, and do what your supposed to do...you will really like this equipment. Its not hard to maintain and it works as advertised. I really was able to take some fantastic pics underwater and get some video too. One thing is that the lens can collect water drops, especially when coming out of water. Just make sure to wipe it before going in and after coming out. I rinsed mine each time I came out of the water. Had no issues at all. As a matter of fact, you may want to buy the Kodak wrist strap (I bought it for floatation), its an extra 12 bucks.
