This camera is awesome. I love the features and the quality is excellent (for a small lens compact camera) I own a Canon D60 for framing, but this camera is great for everyday shooting. The video feature is great. I had a great time with a subject in a pool using the slow motion feature. It shoots in approximately 4x speed so the slow motion is smooth. it also shoots a lot longer than many "slow motion" camcorders with more resolution. I have the Sony which only shoots about 3 seconds of video, but it is amazingly smooth. The Optio shots for about 15 seconds which produces a 1 minute video of very smooth slow motion video. The stitching process of the panorama feature works great and you can take 5 pictures to make a real wide panorama image. It is solid and the controls work nicely. You can even designate some controls as one button access so quick changes of commonly used features are alway ready, Love the camera, haven't found any reason to "wish it did this, or wish it did that".
